About The Site

The site consists of 11 acres of gently sloping grassland, indoor accommodation, toilet and shower facilities, large open areas, specified camping areas, wooded area and moorland.

Dog Hill is managed by the volunteer campsite warden Jack Ratcliffe and his team of dedicated volunteers.

The site is ideal for youth organisation camping trips such as Scouts, Guides and DofE with various activities to ensure you have an action packed weekend. It is also suited for woodland skills, backwards cooking and a chance to experience nature with a weekend away.
