You and your scout/explorer group can also help the site staff and befit the campsite by becoming our service crew for the weekend.

During this weekend you will join the site staff to help develop the site together, completing jobs suited to your groups’ abilities as well as enjoying a weekend away camping onsite.

We can also cater the work to meet the needs of the explorer service crew badge where you will learn all of the fundamentals of running and
maintaining the site over 2 separate occasions.

Some of the jobs that our site staff are responsible for and you may get involved in include:

– General maintenance & cleaning of the camp site

– On-Site duties including transportation of equipment using site vehicles (where appropriate)

 – Building and development of on-site facilities

– Supporting events held onsite

– Hospitality & support to all site users & staff.

As well as lots more opportunities which can be tailored to individual’s skills, profession, hobbies or interests.
