The Bunkhouse is our newly refurbished building, perfect for campers who would also like indoor accommodation. The spacious hall is large enough to run your group activates during the day and will accommodate 12 people sleeping on foldable camping beds which are provided. There is also a bedroom including 2 bunkbeds that’s ideal for leaders to sleep in on a scout or guide camp. The bunkhouse also contains a kitchen including a six ringed oven, fridge and freezer. It is also fully stocked with plenty of pots, pans, cups, plates and the necessary utensils needed for your camping trip.

There is also a wood burning stove and plenty of dry wood supplied to ensure you can keep warm on a chilly evening. There is also a large wall mounted TV for you to use with your computer as well as a dartboard and plenty of tables and chairs to ensure the essentials for your camping trip.

Our multiple different camping areas are well maintained and allow us to accommodate any group size.

We have 2 long camping strips, sheltered from the wind and bad weather by surrounding trees. As well as a large open camping area with beautiful views and a purpose-built fireplace.

Some camping areas do not have a permanent fire place. Alter fires and fire pits are available to allow you to have a warm evening without damaging the camping area, wood is available for £5 per barrow.

Please keep all fires off the ground.

Our recently renovated toilet/ shower block contains three unisex toilets and one shower with a lockable changing area. The toilets also contain sinks and mirrors.

The campsite also contains a spacious wooded forest area that is perfect for hammocking and bivying. The forest has a clear floor with some flat areas to pitch a tent as well as a clearing including a fire pit, perfect for backwards cooking and forestry skills.

There is also a well-stocked woodpile containing dry wood to ensure you can easily have a fire to suit your needs, whether it be to cook on or to keep warm at night. Wood is supplied at £5 a barrow.

Our woodpile also includes wood lockers packed with dry wood to ensure you can still have enough wood when no site staff are present. 

There is also a popup tuckshop available on request where you can buy cans, chocolates, ice lolly’s and campsite badges. 

Kit rental is also available to ensure you have everything you need for your camping trip, please ring in advance to ensure we can meet your needs.
